There aren’t that many puzzles which could either be good or bad depending on your preference BUT it took me a weekend to finish (and yes i was playing for multiple hour chunks each day), which means the game can last pretty long. I would recommend it to anyone who was even the slightest intruiged by the story.Ī warning: there were points that I had to ask my boyfriend to look up some hints (I would have done it, but I didn’t want to accidentally spoil the story) but that’s just because I get frustrated easily. I was genuinely invested in the plot and I didn’t see the end coming. The plot is so interesting and actually really well done. I usually use steam and app store reviews to pick which of the ND games I wanted to play and there wasn’t really any for this game, but I decided to risk it and pick it. So I love them but I was frustrated with that.This was the first of the newer ND games that I played and it brought back all the nostalgia from older games. I finally managed to get them to allow me to redownload the games but it was a several hour debate on the phone hah. I lost all my games and her interactive was not nice about it.
I would download the Big Fish Game Manager app for your laptop so that you can access the free. I had an issue with Her interactive were in college my MacBook Pro (like 15 years ago) crashed due to a super rare kernel error. Also, they are cheaper than the actual Her Interactive Games.
They were in the right to not do that and yet they were gracious. And despite there being a stated “no returns” on the digital game, the Amazon chat employee reimbursed me. I was accidentally charged for two digital downloads of the same Nancy Drew game. I believe they operate more like Big Fish or Steam, where the game is yours once your purchase and similar to a physical copy, you can use it for however long you want.Īlways double check me 😅 but I actually have been very pleased with Amazon.
I have been download several times with my Amazon digital purchases and I don’t remember there even being an option for “additional” or “extended” period of time to download. If you purchase from Her Interactive, you do need the extended download (which I think is still only an additional 5 years).
